W Niepoczołowicach wspominano ks. Bazylego Olęckiego
W szkole podstawowej w Niepoczołowicach w gminie Linia uczczono księdza Bazylego Olęckiego – w 10 rocznicę nadania placówce jego imienia.
Pamięta się go jako kronikarza oraz budowniczego kościoła i trzech kaplic. Wspominano też jego zabiegi by Kaszubi pielęgnowali swój język i kulturę. Na uroczystości w Niepoczołowicach był Piotr Szyca.
