W niedzielę w Kościele Katolickim rozpoczyna się adwent. Dzisiaj i jutro poprzedzą go liczne imprezy andrzejkowe. Sprawdzimy jakie wiążą się z tym tradycje kaszubskie. Andrzejki to wieczór wróżb odprawianych w nocy z 29 na 30 listopada w wigilię świętego Andrzeja. Dawniej były ostatnią okazją do zabawy przed rozpoczynającym się okresem Adwentu, w którym powstrzymywano się tradycyjnie od zabaw. Obecnie Adwent w Kościele Katolickim nie jest okresem postu, a jedynie czasem refleksji. Choć nie przeszkadza to w hucznym świętowaniu imprezy andrzejkowej. Wczoraj w Dziemianach bawili się emeryci. Dawniej w czasie Adwentu Kaszubi chowali do szaf wszelkie instrumenty muzyczne jak i patelnie. Rygorystycznie przestrzegano postu od mięsa oraz zabaw.
