W niedzielę pierwsi pasażerowie pojadą pociągami PKM
W niedzielę pierwsi pasażerowie pojadą pociągami Pomorskiej Kolei Metropolitalnej – podczas uroczystej inauguracji i dnia otwartego. Chętni jutro mogą odebrać bezpłatne bilety.
PKM to największa infrastrukturalna inwestycja samorządu województwa pomorskiego. Po dwóch latach od rozpoczęcia budowy nowa linia połączyła Gdańsk Wrzeszcz z lotniskiem w Rębiechowie. Obsługiwać ją będzie trójmiejska PKP SKM, regularne przewozy ruszą pierwszego września. Symboliczne przecięcie wstęgi jednak odbędzie się w niedzielę, a uroczystej inauguracji towarzyszy dzień otwarty. Pod wiaduktem przystanku PKM Gdańsk Strzyża o 13:00 rozpocznie się festyn rodzinny ze strefą rekreacji, grami logicznymi, konkursami i stoiskiem informacyjnym trójmiejskiej SKM-ki. Dla pierwszych 10-u tysięcy pasażerów przygotowano też bezpłatne, pamiątkowe bilety, uprawniające do przejazdu na trasie Strzyża – Port Lotniczy lub Port Lotniczy – Strzyża. Każdy bilet uprawnia do przejazdu w jedną stronę o konkretnej godzinie, jedna osoba może jednorazowo otrzymać maksymalnie 4 bilety. Odbierać je można jutro między 12:00 a 16:00 w namiocie obok przystanku PKM Gdańsk Strzyża. Dystrybucja biletów będzie także kontynuowana w niedzielę od 12:00 do wyczerpania zapasów.
Organizatorzy proszą o nieprzyjeżdżanie na inaugurację PKM samochodami, ze względów na spodziewane duże zainteresowanie promocyjnymi przejazdami do pociągu nie będzie też można wsiąść z rowerem. W okolice przystanków PKM Strzyża i Port Lotniczy będzie można dojechać autobusami i tramwajami ZTM, które w niedzielę będą jeździć ze zwiększoną częstotliwością.
