W największej szkole w Rumi zamontują windę
Miasto na inwestycję pozyskało dotację z Państwowego Funduszu Rehabilitacji Osób Niepełnosprawnych. Do budynku przy ulicy Stoczniowców, w którym mieści się Szkoła podstawowa nr 9 i II, Liceum ogólnokształcące, uczęszcza półtora tysiąca uczniów. Do tego doliczyć trzeba 200. pracowników.
– Tak duża placówka powinna być wyposażona w windę, m.in. jako zabezpieczenie w przypadkach losowych – mówi przewodniczący Rady Miasta Rumi Ariel Sinicki.
W Rumi windy mają szkoły podstawowe nr 6 i 1. – Teraz czas na nas – mówi dyrektor ZSO Lucyna Oglęcka. udowa szybu, jego ocieplenie i montaż windy będzie kosztować 285 tys zł. Jedną trzecią pokryje dotacja z PFRON-u. Winda ma być uruchomiona do końca tego roku, a jeszcze w wakacje ma się zakończyć termomodernizacja budynku szkoły przy Stoczniowców.
