W Luzinie odsłonięto pomnik profesora Gerarda Labudy
Wielkiego historyka upamiętniła lokalna społeczność, statua ma przypominać Kaszubom o ich wybitnym rodaku.
Autora „Historii Kaszubów w dziejach Pomorza” wspominali wczoraj naukowcy, politycy, działacze kaszubscy, mieszkańcy gminy Luzino. Podkreślali jak ciepłym był człowiekiem i jak bardzo zasłużył się dla kaszubszczyzny. Podkreślał senator Kazimierz Kleina. Pomnik profesora Gerarda Labudy stanął w centrum Luzina. Kosztował 90 tysięcy złotych, sfinansowano go ze społecznej zbiórki i przy pomocy gminy Luzino.
