W Luzinie kończą prace nad rekonstrukcją hełmu wieży kościoła św. Wawrzyńca
W Luzinie kończą prace nad rekonstrukcją hełmu wieży kościoła św. Wawrzyńca. Rozebrano go w marcu tego roku za zgodą Pomorskiego Konserwatora Zabytków.
– Najpierw z myślą o renowacji, ale po oględzinach okazało się że jest on w katastrofalnym stanie – mówi proboszcz Waldemar Waluk.
Dlatego podjęto decyzję o całkowitej rekonstrukcji hełmu. Przy luzińskim kościele stoi już nowa, stalowa konstrukcja hełmu. Trzeba ją obłożyć drewnem i miedzianą blachą oraz zainstalować ocalone i odnowione elementy – chorągiewkę, kulę i krzyż. Hełm ma być usadowiony na wieży luzińskiej świątyni jeszcze przed zimą.
