W Lęborku przekazano wykonawcy plac budowy pod „Szpilkostradę”
To jedna ze zwycięskich propozycji „Budżetu Obywatelskiego”, zakłada położenie nowej nawierzchni na ulicy Staromiejskiej.
Ma być ona wymieniona na całej szerokości ulicy od mostu do skrzyżowania z Curie-Skłodowskiej. Brukową kostkę zastąpią płyty– kamienne i granitowe. Będą na tyle duże, że będą przyjazne dla kobiecych szpilek oraz dziecięcych wózków. Z uwagi na gęstą zabudowę i ruchliwe miejsce wykonawca ma zorganizować prace tak, by jak w najmniejszym stopniu utrudnić poruszanie się Staromiejską. Demontaż rozpocznie się 22 października. Po nim do pracy przystąpi Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Wodociągów i Kanalizacji, które korzystając z remontu nawierzchni wymieni prawie stuletni kolektor sanitarny. Wszystkie prace przy lęborskiej „Szpilkostradzie” powinny być zakończone w listopadzie tego roku. Koszt to 156 tys zł. Długi termin realizacji propozycji Budżetu Obywatelskiego wynikał z konieczności uzgodnień z konserwatorem zabytków i naniesienia wielu poprawek do projektu.
