W Lęborku na Staromiejskiej powstała „Szpilkostrada”
Nowa nawierzchnia ma być przyjazna dla kobiet na obcasach, łatwiej będzie się też tam poruszać na wózku inwalidzkim. Tzw. „Szpilkostrada” to jeden ze zwycięskich projektów budżetu obywatelskiego.
Wymieniono nawierzchnię na całej szerokości Staromiejskiej od mostu do skrzyżowania z Curie – Skłodowskiej. Prace ziemne na ulicy w historycznym centrum Lęborka prowadzone były pod nadzorem archeologicznym. Wykorzystano kostkę z rozebranego fragmentu, ale pośrodku deptaka położono nowe, szerokie płyty. Inwestycja kosztowała blisko 175 tys zł, wczoraj przeszła odbiór techniczny. Korzystając z remontu nawierzchni Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Wodociągów i Kanalizacji wymieniło na Staromiejskiej prawie stuletni kolektor sanitarny.
