W Kościerzynie nadano nowe nazwy ponad dwudziestu ulicom
W Kościerzynie uporządkowali nazwy ulic. Ponad dwadzieścia nadali radni na ostatniej sesji rady miasta. Taką konieczność zrodziły inwestycje drogowe oraz wybudowana rok temu obwodnica, która podzieliła Kościerzynę na dwie odrębne części.
– Trzeba było tam uporządkować nazewnictwo i numerację – tłumaczy burmistrz Michał Majewski.
Nowe nazwy ulic nadano między innymi na osiedlu Za lasem, w Trójkącie Przemysłowym oraz w okolicach ulic Plebanka, Markubowo i Rolnicza. Nazwy ulic na Osiedlu za Lasem nawiązują do określeń drzew iglastych, są też nazwy królów polskich oraz wybitnych duchownych jak Jana Pawła II i kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego. Zmiany wejdą w życie pod koniec kwietnia. Mieszkańcy będą musieli wymienić dowody osobiste i prawa jazdy. Wymiany dokumentów dokonają bezpłatnie.
