W Kościerzynie rozpoczynają się wojewódzkie obchody Światowego Dnia FAS
W Kościerzynie rozpoczynają się dzisiaj wojewódzkie obchody Światowego Dnia FAS, czyli Alkoholowego Zespołu Płodowego. O szkodliwości picia alkoholu w ciąży specjaliści będą mówić podczas konferencji, na pikniku oraz w urzędach.
Alkoholowy Zespół Płodowy jest najczęstszą przyczyną upośledzenia umysłowego noworodków. Jest chorobą nieuleczalną, której można uniknąć zachowując całkowitą abstynencję w czasie ciąży. O tym będą mówić dzisiaj psychiatrzy i neurolodzy podczas konferencji pt. „Ciąża bez alkoholu-dziecko bez FAS” – na którą zaprasza dyrektor kościerskiego MOPS Sylwia Trzebiatowska-Glok. Również dzisiaj do akcji informacyjnej o FAS przyłączają się urzędnicy wielu instytucji w Kościerzynie, których będzie można spotkać w żółtych koszulkach z napisem „Woda tak, alkohol nie”. Jutrzejszy piknik pod hasłem „Trzeźwa ciąża, dziecka nie obciąża” odbędzie się na kościerskim rynku w godzinach 11:00 – 14:00.
