W Kosakowie archeolodzy kończą badania przy ulicy Derdowskiego
W Kosakowie kilka elementów starożytnego osadnictwa zabezpieczyli archeolodzy na trasie budowanej ulicy Derdowskiego. Naukowcy są na finiszu badań, teraz pałeczkę przejmą drogowcy.
Derdowskiego ma połączyć gminę z gdyńską dzielnicą Pogórze i odciążyć zakorkowane ulice Żeromskiego i Wiejską. Prace archeologiczne zlecił wojewódzki konserwator zabytków – wyjaśnia zastępca wójta gminy Kosakowo Marcin Majek. W trakcie badań archeolodzy ponad dwukrotnie powiększyli ich teren. Mimo to są już na finiszu, ustępują pola drogowcom, a termin realizacji inwestycji nie będzie zagrożony. Ulica Derdowskiego ma być przejezdna na odcinku Kosakowo – Pogórze do końca października. Cała inwestycja będzie zakończona w maju przyszłego roku.
