– Gdyby udało się zrealizować tę inwestycję byłby to wielki wabik na turystów – mówi burmistrz Kartuz Grzegorz Gołuński.
Wieża miałaby stanąć na Spiczastej Górze, obok kaplicy – w miejscu, gdzie podobny obiekt był przed wojną. Po drewnianej konstrukcji dziś zachowały się jedynie fundamenty. Ze Spiczastą Górą związana jest też jedna z kartuskich legend. Według niej góra połączona jest z kolegiatą podziemnym tunelem, który miał posłużyć do ewakuacji zakonników w razie najazdu wojsk szwedzkich.
