W Helu jutro pierwsze z inscenizacji bitew w ramach D Day Hel
W Helu jutro pierwsze z inscenizacji bitew w ramach D Day Hel, już natomiast prezentowane są dioramy, odbywają się pokazy i koncerty. To 11 edycja imprezy, będącej podróżą w lata 40-te ubiegłego wieku i gratką dla miłośników militariów.
D Day Hel organizuje Fundacja Zabytków Techniki Militarnej Gmina Hel oraz Grupy Rekonstrukcji Historycznej z całego kraju, w sumie ponad 400. rekonstruktorów i 200. wolontariuszy, mających do dyspozycji 6 tirów sprzętu, 60 pojazdów wojskowych i 3 czołgi w tym słynny Sherman. Jutro odbędą się pierwsze z mniejszych inscenizacji, m.in. „Spadochroniarze nocą”, w czwartek „Pancerna pięść” w porcie. Główna atrakcja – lądowanie na plaży Omaha odbędzie się na cyplu helskim w sobotę. D Day to także wydarzenia towarzyszące – dzisiaj od 11:00 do 17:00 prezentowane będą dioramy z elementami dynamicznymi na ulicy Kuracyjnej. O 15:00 na Bulwarze Nadmorskim metamorfozy w stylu lat 40-tych z udziałem osoby wybranej drogą konkursu. O 18:00 parada, a po niej koncert Muzyki lat 40.
