W Helu chcą odświeżyć ścieżkę rowerową
Ścieżka rowerowa w Helu do remontu – miejski samorząd chce go przeprowadzić przy unijnym dofinansowaniu. Malowniczo położony szlak dla miłośników dwóch kółek zbudowano na półwyspie 10 lat temu – i już po pierwszym upalnym lecie okazało się, że nie sprawdzają się zastosowane tam rozwiązania.
– Nawierzchnia nie wytrzymuje warunków pogodowych, trzeba ją gruntownie zmodernizować – wyjaśnia wiceburmistrz Helu Jarosław Pałkowski.
Na ośmiu kilometrach ścieżki ma być położona nowa, stabilna i odporna na warunki atmosferyczne nawierzchnia. Koszt szacowany jest na 2 miliony złotych. Samorządowcy z Helu pieniędzy chcą szukać w unijnym Programie Północne Trasy Rowerowe. Jeżeli wniosek helskiego samorządu zostanie pozytywnie rozpatrzony, ścieżka rowerowa ma zostać wyremontowana do końca 2018 roku.
