W Gniewinie w niedzielę finał LOTOS Junior Cup 2016
W szranki staną 12-latkowie reprezentujący wszystkie ośrodki otwarte w ramach programu Piłkarska Przyszłość z LOTOSEM.
W tym roku do rywalizacji zaproszono także inne ekipy młodzieżowe działające w regionie, dlatego w półfinałach wystartowało łącznie 78 drużyn. Zwycięzcy półfinałów to m. in. U2 Bytów, Radunia Stężyca, Cartusia 1923 Kartuzy, GOSRiT Luzino, Chojniczanka i GKS Kolbudy. Zwycięzca każdego półfinału zasila swoją kadrę wybranymi zawodnikami z pozostałych drużyn i w Gniewinie zespoły wystąpią pod nazwą miasta, w którym wywalczyły awans. Do tej 12-ki dołączą dwa składy reprezentujące Gdańsk, drużyna wystawiona przez Pruszcz Gdański oraz ekipa z Gniewina.
To właśnie tam, po raz pierwszy poza Gdańskiem, piłkarski narybek zmierzy się w finale turnieju LOTOS Junior Cup. Ceremonię otwarcia zaplanowano na godzinę 11:00, kibicować będzie można aż do 17:00. Niedzielnemu turniejowi w Gniewinie towarzyszyć będą atrakcje dla najmłodszych – jak dmuchańce, samochodziki, konkursy i zabawy pod okiem animatorów.
