W gminie Wejherowo aktywizują młodzież
Młodzież chce współpracować z samorządem, problemem jest skuteczne dotarcie do niej – to wnioski po debacie, jaką w Gościcinie w gminie Wejherowo odbyli z samorządowcami uczniowie z tamtejszych szkół. Zorganizowano ją w ramach programu „Aktywne postawy młodzieży”.
– Akcja kosztowała 35 tysięcy złotych, kwotą 28 tysięcy wsparło ją Ministerstwo Rodziny i Polityki Społecznej, by kształtować wśród młodzieży postawy obywatelskie – mówi Anna Pawelec z wejherowskiego GOPS.
Do debaty młodzi przygotowywali się przez kilka tygodni na warsztatach dyskusyjnych i panelach roboczych – dodaje sekretarz gminy Wejherowo, Ryszard Stachurski. Uczniowie chcieli poznać pomysł samorządowców na zagospodarowanie gimnazjum w Bolszewie po wprowadzeniu reformy oświatowej. Młodzież wypunktowała słabe strony sieci transportu publicznego oraz że czuje się niedoinformowana. Program Gminnego Ośrodka Pomocy Społecznej “Aktywne postawy młodzieży” potrwa do 21 grudnia. Młodzież weźmie jeszcze udział m.in. w warsztatach medialnych, zajęciach z organizacji i reprezentacji środowiska lokalnego oraz wycieczkach studyjnych.
