W gminie Puck staną dwujęzyczne tablice z nazwami miejscowości. Pierwszy krok na drodze ich wymiany na polsko–kaszubskie postawili wczoraj gminni radni. Przyjęli uchwałę, zgodnie z którą będą wnioskować o wpisanie do Rejestru Gmin, na których obszarze używane są nazwy w języku mniejszości. Przypomnę, że dwujęzyczne tablice pojawiają się na Kaszubach od 2005 roku, najwięcej jest ich w powiatach: kartuskim, bytowskim i wejherowskim. Gmina Puck idzie w ślady Przodkowa, które wiosną zaczęło starania. Oba te samorządy łączy również to, że czekały z wymianą prawie 10 lat, mimo że sprawę mają ułatwioną – jako gminy, w których ponad 20% mieszkańców zadeklarowało w spisie kaszubską tożsamość nie musiały wcześniej przeprowadzać społecznych konsultacji. Cieszy się sołtys Gnieżdżewa Maria Szefka. – Gmina z wymianą się nie spieszyła, ale teraz postanowiono pójść za ciosem – i wymienić także nazwy ulic – ocenia wójt gminy Puck Tadeusz Puszkarczuk. Zapoczątkowana – na razie na papierze – procedura wymiany tablic na dwujęzyczne potrwa około roku. Koszt pokryje w całości Ministerstwo Administracji i Cyfryzacji.
