W gminie Linia wprowadzono zakaz podlewania ogródków i upraw w ciągu dnia wodą z wodociągu. Za jego złamanie grożą kary pieniężne.
– W stosunku do osób które nie będą go przestrzegać zostanie wszczęte postępowanie administracyjne; najpierw upomnienie, potem kara pieniężna – mówi wójt gminy Linia Bogusława Engelbrecht.
Wina jest susza skutkująca zwiększonym zużyciem wody powodującym obniżenie ciśnienia w sieci. Zakaz obowiązuje między godziną 08:00 rano a 21:00, będzie obowiązywał do odwołania. Susza jest już tak dotkliwa, że z powodu niskiego poziomu wód gruntowych cierpią także mieszkańcy posiadający własne studnie. Prognozy pogody nie nastrajają optymistycznie – padać miało już od jutra, teraz mówi się że przelotnych opadów i burze można się spodziewać dopiero podczas weekendu.
