Zachęcą do przesiadki z aut na rowery i do komunikacji miejskiej
Bezpłatne linie autobusowe, piknik i przejazdy bez biletu dla kierowców – Gdynia po raz 9 weźmie udział w obchodach Europejskiego Tygodnia Zrównoważonego Transportu. Nazywany jest także Europejskim Tygodniem Mobilności, udział zadeklarowało ponad 1200 miast.
– Z tej okazji w sobotę uruchamiamy cztery bezpłatne linie autobusowe – zapowiada Marcin Gromadzki z Zarządu Komunikacji Miejskiej w Gdyni.
W tym roku promowane są ekologiczne, niskoemisyjne środki transportu oraz systemy mobilności współdzielonej. Bezpłatne linie ZKM Gdynia uruchamia w sobotę 16 września. W niedzielę natomiast odbędzie się piknik na Skwerze Kościuszki. W godzinach 11:00 – 15:00 zaprasza tam Paweł Kimel z gdyńskiego Zarządu Dróg i Zieleni. Ważna informacja dla kierowców, w dniu pikniku – 17 września – al. Jana Pawła II będzie zamknięta w godzinach 6:00-21:00. Dopełnieniem gdyńskich obchodów Europejskiego Tygodnia Mobilności będzie Dzień Bez Samochodu. 22 września ważny dowód rejestracyjny auta będzie upoważniał do bezpłatnych przejazdów autobusami i trolejbusami.
