W Gdyni wybrano projekt zagospodarowania na Park Centralny
Przede wszystkim zieleń – takie było motto autorów zwycięskiego projektu na Park Centralny w Gdyni. Miejsce do wypoczynku i rekreacji powstanie na trzech hektarach między aleją Piłsudskiego i ulicami: Świętojańską i Legionów.
Najważniejsi mają być piesi, zieleń będzie izolacją od hałasu ulic i podkreśli podział na strefy funkcjonalne. Konkurs wygrała gdyńska spółka Arch-Deco za projekt najbardziej dopracowany i najbliższy temu, co wskazywali mieszkańcy w konsultacjach społecznych. Pod miejskim parkiem powstanie podziemny parking na 270 miejsc, całkowity koszt oszacowano na 35 mln zł. Prace, które nie będą wymagały pozwoleń na budowę, mają się rozpocząć w tym roku. Park Centralny w Gdyni ma być w roku 2020. Zwycięski projekt można do końca lutego oglądać w InfoBoksie.
