W Gdyni w Urzędzie Miasta powstaje Wydział Polityki Rodzinnej
Przejmie prowadzenie programu „Gdynia Rodzinna”, dotychczas mocno opartego o aktywność pełnomocnika prezydenta miasta do spraw rodziny.
– Stąd utworzenie wydziału, założenia polityki rodzinnej pozostają bez zmian – mówi wiceprezydent Gdyni ds. gospodarki Katarzyna Gruszecka-Spychała.
Chodzi o prowadzone od sześciu lat działania na rzecz przyjaznego klimatu dla rodzin. Po zbadaniu opinii rodziców, dzieci, organizacji pozarządowych i miejskich instytucji okazało się, że potrzeba większego zespołu obsługującego projekt i ram instytucjonalnych. Wydział Polityki Rodzinnej będzie się mieścił przy ulicy Świętojańskiej, na wysokości Placu Kaszubskiego. Oprócz funkcji administracyjnych ma też być przyjazną przestrzenią dla rodzin i chcących działać na ich rzecz. Urząd Miasta Gdyni ogłosił nabór kandydatów na naczelnika Wydziału Polityki Rodzinnej. Jego siedziba ma być gotowa w ciągu 3 – 4 miesięcy.
