W Gdyni tydzień promocji… karmienia piersią
„Gdybym mógł, to bym karmił piersią” – pod takim hasłem Gdynia włączyła się do kampanii społecznej Ogólnopolskiego Tygodnia Karmienia Piersią. Do udziału w akcji zaproszeni zostali tatusiowe, celebryci i znani sportowcy.
– To naturalne i matki powinny czuć nasze wsparcie – mówi pełnomocnik Prezydenta Gdyni ds. Rodziny, Beata Szadziul.
Kampania adresowana jest nie tylko do matek karmiących, Urząd Miasta Gdyni chce dotrzeć do społeczeństwa. Celem jest zachęcenie do akceptacji karmienia dzieci piersią w miejscach publicznych. W ramach kampanii od odbywają się różne warsztaty, konferencje i projekcje filmów traktujących o laktacji i społecznym postrzeganiu zagadnienia. Zorganizowano także niecodzienną sesję fotograficzną znanych mężczyzn z niemowlętami, w której wziął udział m. in. wiceprezydent Gdyni Michał Guć. Akcja potrwa do 1 czerwca.
