W Gdyni powstanie specjalistyczne przedszkole dla niepełnosprawnych
W Gdyni powstanie specjalistyczne przedszkole terapeutyczne dla dzieci z niepełnosprawnością umysłową. Dofinansowanie na ten cel pozyskało Polskie Stowarzyszenie na Rzecz Osób z Niepełnosprawnością Intelektualną. W placówce będzie 25 nowych miejsc przedszkolnych, ale łącznie wsparciem objętych będzie 37 maluchów. Dzięki prowadzonym w przedszkolu zajęciom dzieci będą mogły rozwijać swoje zdolności oraz niezbędne umiejętności. Co ważne, punkt będzie też otwarty na najcięższe przypadki niepełnosprawności – czyli takie, z jakimi stowarzyszenie spotyka się od ćwierćwiecza w prowadzonym w Gdyni Ośrodku Wczesnej Interwencji. Wsparciem psychologicznymi i pedagogicznym zostaną także objęci nauczyciele oraz rodzice przedszkolaków. Projekt ma być realizowany w Gdyni do stycznia 2022 roku, będzie kosztował ponad 3 mln 700 tys zł. Z tego ponad 80 procent pokryje unijne dofinansowanie z pomorskiego Regionalnego Programu Operacyjnego.
