W Gdyni na plaży dobiega końca letnia akcja Rakoobrony
Już ponad 2 tysiące 300 osób przebadało znamiona na plaży w Gdyni. Kampania Rakoobrona potrwa do niedzieli.
To trzecia edycja letniej akcji edukacyjnej poświęconej przede wszystkim profilaktyce czerniaka złośliwego. Trwa już czwarty tydzień. W czarnym namiocie na plaży Gdynia Śródmieście można się m.in. dowiedzieć, że badaniom profilaktycznym pod kątem czerniaka warto poddać się przynajmniej raz w roku, tym bardziej, że wczesne wykrycie podejrzanej zmiany daje nawet 90% szans na wyleczenie. Można też od ręki skorzystać z konsultacji z dermatologiem, nie potrzeba przy tym skierowania ani dowodu tożsamości. Czekający na badanie są jedynie proszeni o wypełnienie krótkiej ankiety sprawdzającej wiedzę na temat czerniaka złośliwego. Spośród przebadanych już ponad dwóch tysięcy trzystu osób kilkadziesiąt skierowano na dalsze konsultacje. Końcówka lata to bardzo dobry moment na sprawdzenie, czy na naszej skórze pojawiły się nowe pieprzyki oraz czy już istniejące zmieniły kształt. Czarnego namiotu Rakoobrony szukać należy na miejskiej plaży w Gdyni nieopodal Bulwaru Nadmorskiego. Konsultacje z dermatologiem odbywają się codziennie do 28 sierpnia w godzinach 11.00-16.00.
