W Gdyni dziś kulminacja kampanii „FAS – w trosce o dziecko”
W Gdyni dziś kulminacja kampanii społecznej „FAS – w trosce o dziecko” – w Światowy Dzień FAS, czyli Alkoholowego Zespołu Płodowego.
Od niedzieli w Gdyni prowadzone były prelekcje, był apel w kościołach, kampania plakatowa – by przypomnieć że nawet najmniejsza dawka alkoholu może mieć poważny i nieodwracalny wpływ na zdrowie dziecka. W Polsce problem staje się coraz bardziej poważny, według statystyk alkohol spożywa około 33 procent ciężarnych. Gdyńska kampania informacyjna zakończy się dzisiaj konferencją z udziałem krajowych ekspertów w Parku Naukowo – Technologicznym Gdynia. Zaplanowano też premierę filmu „Nicola – historia prawdziwa” opowiadającego o dziewczynce dotkniętej FAS i pokazującego postępy jakie zrobiła dzięki odpowiedniej pomocy i zaangażowaniu bliskich.
Gdynia od wielu lat zajmuje się tematem FAS systemowo. Jest jedynym miastem w Polsce finansującym z własnego budżetu działalność placówki, w której dzieci z Alkoholowym Zespołem Płodowym otrzymują wszechstronną i bezpłatną pomoc.
