W Gdyni będzie działał bezpłatny punkt badania znamion – w ramach ogólnopolskiej kampanii profilaktyki czerniaka.
Jej częścią są też latem bezpłatne badania na gdyńskiej plaży, z których w tym roku skorzystało ponad 650 osób. Czarny namiot Rakoobrony stał na plaży w śródmieściu od 14 do 20 sierpnia. Codziennie odwiedzało go ponad sto osób by sprawdzić, czy na skórze nie pojawiły się nowe pieprzyki bądź dotychczasowe nie zmieniły kształtu. Specjaliści wysłali kilkudziesięciu pacjentów na dalsze konsultacje. Badaniom profilaktycznym pod kątem czerniaka złośliwego warto poddać się przynajmniej raz w roku – tym bardziej, że wczesne wykrycie podejrzanej zmiany daje nawet 90 procent szans na wyleczenie. Dlatego w Gdyni 6 września otwarty zostanie stały punkt badania znamion – drugi, po wrocławskim, taki gabinet Rakoobrony. Postanie dzięki współpracy z Gdańskim Uniwersytetem Medycznym oraz SANEPIDem – wojewódzkim i gdyńskim. Punkt będzie czynny w każdą środę od 15:00 do 18:00 przy powiatowym SANEPIDzie przy ulicy Starowiejskiej w Gdyni. Rejestracja rusza jutro, będzie prowadzona w każdy wtorek i czwartek przed południem.
