W Gdańsku pożegnamy redaktora Stanisława Pestkę
Z pocztami sztandarowymi i czarno-żółtymi flagami Kaszubi tłumnie żegnali wczoraj na cmentarzu w Redzie wybitnego językoznawcę i wielkiego człowieka profesora Jerzego Tredera. To smutny czas dla ruchu kaszubsko – pomorskiego – podkreślali działacze i naukowcy.
Profesor Treder był jednym z głównych twórców kaszubskiego języka literackiego i języka nauki.
– To wielka strata – mówił wczoraj prezes Zrzeszenia Kaszubsko – Pomorskiego Łukasz Grzędzicki.
Dzisiaj na cmentarzu Srebrzysko w Gdańsku pożegnamy kolejnego wielkiego Kaszubę redaktora Stanisława Pestkę. Zmarł 2 kwietnia w wieku 86 lat. Był dziennikarzem, poetą i działaczem kaszubsko – pomorskim. Pochodził z Rolbika w gminie Brusy, skąd przyjął pseudonim literacki Jan Zbrzyca. Stanisław Pestka dwukrotnie, w latach 70. i 90. był prezesem Zrzeszenia Kaszubsko – Pomorskiego a także redaktorem naczelnym miesięcznika Pomerania. Za swoją działalność wyróżniony został Medalem Stolema, Pieczęcią Świętopełka Klasy Złotej a także gdańskim Medalem Księcia Mestwina II. Msza święta przedpogrzebowa odbędzie się w kościele św. Kazimierza Królewicza w Gdańsku-Zaspie o godzinie 11:00, po niej o godzinie 12:30 w nowej kaplicy na cmentarzu Srebrzysko odbędzie się pogrzeb.
