W Gdańsku oddadzą dziś hołd ofiarom stanu wojennego
W Gdańsku oddadzą dziś hołd ofiarom stanu wojennego – w 37. rocznicę jego wprowadzenia. W nocy z 12 na 13 grudnia 1981 roku władzę przejęło wojsko, a na ulice wyjechały czołgi. W pierwszych dniach internowano 5 tysięcy osób, w sumie do więzień trafiło 10 tysięcy członków „Solidarności” i działaczy opozycji.
Było ponad sto ofiar śmiertelnych i tysiące prześladowanych, wyrzucanych z pracy, zmuszanych do emigracji – podkreślono w uchwale przyjętej wczoraj przez Sejm w hołdzie ofiarom stanu wojennego i tym wszystkim, którzy stawili opór komunistycznej dyktaturze. Gdańskie obchody rozpoczęły się wczoraj w nocy czuwaniem pod Pomnikiem Poległych Stoczniowców. Dziś o 12:30 znicze zapłoną pod pomnikiem dwóch obrońców Solidarności i Wolności: świętego Jana Pawła II i Ronalda Reagana, a o 13:15 pod pomnikiem Anny Walentynowicz. O 16:00 uroczystości rozpoczną się pod Pomnikiem Poległych Stoczniowców, po czym zaplanowano konferencję w Sali BHP Stoczni Gdańskiej.
