Takiego koncertu w Bojanie koło Szemuda jeszcze nie było. W tamtejszym kościele zaprezentował się egzotyczny zespół śpiewaczy z Tajlandii.
Chór Uniwersytecki Mahidol przyjechał do Bojana w wyniku współpracy tamtejszej parafii z Międzynarodowym Festiwalem Mundus Cantat – czyli świat śpiewa. Chór mieszany z Tajlandii ma na swoim koncie wiele nagród na szczeblu regionalnym i krajowym oraz medale na Slowakia Cantat w Bratysławie. – Utwory sakralne i świeckie, popularne i klasyczne w jego wykonaniu bardzo ciepło przyjęła publiczność w Bojanie – mówił wójt Ryszard Kalkowski. Chór Mahidol wystąpi jeszcze dziś w kościele pw. św. Ignacego w Gdańsku.
