Wybitnie uzdolnieni uczniowie nagrodzeni stypendiami marszałka pomorskiego. Uroczysta gala ich wręczenia odbyła się dziś w Filharmonii Bałtyckiej w Gdańsku. Wyróżniono w sumie niemal setkę młodych i zdolnych. 50 w ramach programu „Pomorskie – dobry kurs na edukację” oraz „Programu wspierania edukacji uzdolnionych dzieci i młodzieży.
Wyjątkowo uzdolnioną młodzież Urząd Marszałkowski wsparł po raz ósmy. Stypendia w wysokości 360 zł miesięcznie przyznawane są uczniom szkół gimnazjalnych i ponadgimnazjalnych, by je uzyskać uczniowie musieli legitymować się ponadprzeciętną średnią ocen, oraz pochwalić się wynikami w pozaszkolnych konkursach. Wśród wyróżnionych znaleźli się laureaci mi.in olimpiad matematycznych, informatycznych czy konkursów pianistycznych z całego Pomorza – od gminy Sierakowice w powiecie kartuskim, przez Trójmiasto po Słupsk. Jak mówiła pomorski wicemarszałek, Hanna Zych-Cisoń, głównym celem tego programu jest stworzenie bazy fachowców, którzy będą w przyszłości uczestniczyć w rozwoju województwa. Beneficjenci stypendiów nie mogą swobodnie dysponować pieniędzmi – środki muszą być przeznaczone na Indywidualny Program Rozwoju Ucznia, kształtujący dalszą edukację stypendysty.
