Uwaga na osy! Ich jad może być śmiertelnie niebezpieczny – ostrzega Straż Miejska w Gdyni.
To ostrzeżenie ma związek z interwencją mundurowych z ekopatrolu w sprawie gniazda os na placu zabaw w Witominie. Owady założyły je w żywopłocie na wysokości około pół metra na ziemią. Strażnicy ewakuowali przebywające na placu mamy z niemowlętami w wózkach, dzieci i osoby starsze oraz wezwali strażaków, którzy przy pomocy specjalistycznego sprzętu zabrali gniazdo.
To pierwsze takie zdarzenie od lat, gdy strażnicy z Gdyni mieli do czynienia z zagrożeniem ze strony os. Straż Miejska alarmuje, by nie podejmować indywidualnie interwencji w przypadku, gdy podejrzewamy że mamy do czynienia z agresywnymi owadami. Osy uaktywniają się szczególnie podczas ciepłych miesięcy. Ich ukąszenie może spowodować wstrząs anafilaktyczny, który kończy się śmiercią.
