Urodzinowy weekend w Gdyni – w rocznicę nadania praw miejskich
W Gdyni weekend upłynie pod znakiem oficjalnych uroczystości i aktywnego świętowania – z okazji 91. rocznicy nadania praw miejskich. Rocznica przypada 10 lutego.
Świętowanie rozpocznie się jutro urodzinową konferencją „Tożsamość Kulturowo-cywilizacyjna Gdyni” – o 10:00 w Wyższej Szkole Komunikacji Społecznej. Oficjalne uroczystości rozpoczną się w południe złożeniem kwiatów pod płytą pomnika Marynarza Polskiego. Pół godziny później Muzeum Miasta Gdyni zaprezentuje nową wystawę stałą „Gdynia – dzieło otwarte”. To opowieść o historii młodego miasta opowiedziana głosami jego mieszkańców. Do niedzieli wstęp jest bezpłatny. Jutro będzie też o 13:00 toast gorącą czekoladą przed Gdynia InfoBox, później zajęcia twórcze dla dzieci w Bibliotece Chylonia, na zakończenie urodzinowa sesja Rady Miasta w Teatrze Miejskim.
W sobotę natomiast Klub Krajoznawców „BLIZA” zaprasza na spacer historyczny – zbiórka o 13.30 przed budynkiem Muzeum Miasta Gdyni. Weekend upłynie pod znakiem Biegu Urodzinowego PKO Grand Prix Gdyni. W sobotę wystartują maluchy, młodzież oraz uczestnicy marszów nordic walking, niedziela zarezerwowana będzie dla uczestników biegu głównego, który rozpocznie się o 10.00. Na listy startowe zapisało się łącznie 6 tys. 815 zawodników, z czego ponad 5 tys planuje wystartować w biegu na dystansie 10 km.
