Unijne dofinansowanie na szlak kajakowy rzeki Wdy
Ponad 600 tysięcy złotych unijnego dofinansowania otrzyma gmina Karsin na stworzenie infrastruktury turystycznej na kajakowym szlaku rzeki Wdy i jej kanału. Umowę w tej sprawie gminny samorząd podpisał już z marszałkiem województwa pomorskiego.
– Liczymy że inwestycja szybko zwróci się przyciągając turystów wodniaków – mówi wójt gminy Karsin, Roman Brunke.
Projekt realizowany jest w partnerstwie z gminami Kaliska i Czersk. Na rzece Wda od Borska w gm. Karsin do Czubka w gm. Czersk, a także na kanale między Borskiem a Wojtalem pojawi się oznakowanie, utworzone będą także trzy przystanie. Inwestycja obejmie blisko 50 km szlaku kajakowego i będzie kosztować łącznie 714 tysięcy złotych. Projektem objęte jest prawie 37 km rzeki Wdy. Prace nad unowocześnieniem szlaku kajakowego Wdy mają potrwać do grudnia 2020 roku.
