Uczyli się podstaw tańca i historii folkloru kaszubskiego
Ponad 60. nauczycieli wzięło udział w warsztatach tańca regionalnego. Po raz pierwszy zorganizowało je Muzeum Piśmiennictwa i Muzyki Kaszubsko – Pomorskiej w Wejherowie.
Warsztaty poprowadził znany instruktor Marek Czarnowski, który zwrócił uwagę na błędy popełniane przez kierowników zespołów dziecięcych, w tym zły dobór strojów i repertuaru. Warsztaty zostały zorganizowane w ramach obchodów 25. rocznicy śmierci Pawła Szefki, który na początku XX wieku zebrał i opracował ludowe zwyczaje, tańce i pieśni kaszubskie. Muzeum w Wejherowie wspólnie z Akademią Muzyczną w Gdańsku organizuje też roczny kurs tańca regionalnego, który zakończy się uzyskaniem kwalifikacji instruktora zespołów folklorystycznych. Właśnie ogłoszono nabór, zajęcia rozpoczną się w październiku.
