W Dziemianach uczczą 70. rocznicę stracenia kpt. Alojzego Bruskiego pseudonim „Grab” – żołnierza wyklętego pochodzącego z południa Kaszub. Uroczystości wraz z wykładem historyków z IPN odbędą się w najbliższą sobotę.
– Chcemy przypomnieć bohaterskie dzieje człowieka, który pochodził z naszej gminy – mówi wójt Leszek Pobłocki.
Pochodzący z Piechowic w gminie Dziemiany kapitan Alojzy Bruski był żołnierzem Armii Krajowej i Delegatury Sił Zbrojnych. Wiosną 1945 roku na terenie Puszczy Bydgoskiej zorganizował oddział, który zajmował się zwalczaniem żołnierzy sowieckich dokonujących rabunków na mieszkańcach okolicznych wsi. Za te działania został skazany na karę śmierci, którą wykonano w 1946 roku.
Uroczystości rozpoczną się w najbliższą sobotę mszą świętą o godzinie 12:00. Po niej w dziemiańskim gimnazjum odbędzie się wykład dr Alicji Paczoskiej-Hauke z IPN w Bydgoszczy.
