Uczcili jubileusz 70-lecia istnienia ZSP nr 4
Otwarciem nowego skrzydła budynku z nowoczesną pracownią uczczono w Wejherowie jubileusz 70-lecia istnienia Zespołu Szkół Ponadgimnazjalnych nr 4. Swoje bramy dla uczniów popularna „samochodówka” otworzyła po raz pierwszy 1 października 1945 roku.
– To symbolika zmian, jakie zaszły w naszej szkole – mówiła dyrektor samochodówki, Anna Wilk.
W świętowaniu rocznicy udział wzięli pomorski wojewoda, przedstawiciele wejherowskich samorządów oraz byli i obecni nauczyciele i uczniowie. Uroczystości rozpoczęto poświęceniem nowego sztandaru. Głównym punktem uroczystości było otwarcie nowego skrzydła placówki, a wraz z nim nowoczesnej pracowni fotograficznej. Warsztat wyposażony jest w wysokiej klasy sprzęt do fotografii analogowej i cyfrowej oraz ciemnię. W planach placówki jest dalsza rozbudowa o sześć kolejnych pracowni, m.in. dla nowego kierunku – technik chłodnictwa i klimatyzacji. – Takie inwestycje są w pełni uzasadnione ogromnym popytem na zawody techniczne na rynku pracy – mówi członek zarządu powiatu wejherowskiego, Wojciech Rybakowski. Rozbudowa łącznika i kolejnych pracowni będzie kosztowała około 3 i pół miliona złotych. Środki na ten cel władze szkoły będą starały się pozyskać z funduszy unijnych. (Foto: www.zspg4.wejher.pl)
