Wejherowo z Tytułem Gminy Atrakcyjnej Turystycznie
Miasto Wejherowo otrzymało Nagroda specjalną Ogólnopolskiej Federacji Przedsiębiorców i Pracodawców i tytuł Gminy Atrakcyjnej Turystycznie.
Wejherowo zostało docenione za stałe wdrażanie działań oraz prowadzenie inwestycji wpływających na podnoszenie atrakcyjności turystycznej. Kapituła konkursu brała pod uwagę, przy swojej ocenie, zarówno istniejącą infrastrukturę turystyczną w mieście, jak również plany jej rozwoju, prowadzone przez samorząd działania na rzecz ochrony środowiska i realizowane działania promocyjne. Plebiscyt, w którym Wejherowo otrzymało to wyróżnienie, realizowany jest w ramach Narodowego Programu Promocji Polska Przedsiębiorczość, przy poparciu Ministerstwa Infrastruktury i Rozwoju.
