Transmisje Euro 2016 pod lupą UOKiK. Urząd chce wyjaśnień od Cyfrowego Polsatu i Telewizji Polsat.
Do Urzędu Ochrony Konkurencji i Konsumentów napływają skargi na działania spółek w związku z transmisjami piłkarskich rozgrywek. Chodzi m. in. o jakość sygnału internetowego w Ipli oraz wycięcie z listy kanałów Cyfrowego Polsatu dwóch ogólnodostępnych, niemieckojęzycznych kanałów – ZDF i Das Erste, które oferowały transmisję meczów turnieju UEFA EURO 2016. Urząd zwrócił się również do Telewizji Polsat z zapytaniem dotyczącym warunków ofert na publiczne odtwarzanie transmisji z turnieju.
Jeżeli okaże się, że mogło dojść do stosowania praktyk niezgodnych z prawem UOKiK może wszcząć postępowanie wyjaśniające, a następnie w sprawie naruszenia zbiorowych interesów konsumentów lub praktyk ograniczających konkurencję.
