To był najlepszy sezon od lat – w Helu podsumowują wakacje
Piękna przyroda, ciekawa oferta kulturalno – rekreacyjna i poczucie bezpieczeństwa przebiły nieciekawą pogodę – tegoroczny sezon turystyczny oceniają w Helu jako najlepszy od lat.
– Nie przeszkodziła także deszczowa pogoda – turyści z plaż zamiast do kwater skierowali swe kroki ku sklepikom i restauracjom – mówi pani Agnieszka Hirth ze stoiska z kaszubskim rękodziełem.
Na oficjalne statystyki przyjdzie jeszcze poczekać, ale burmistrz Helu Klemens Kohnke szacuje, że liczba turystów która odwiedziła półwysep była rekordowa. Jak ocenia helski samorząd, największym magnesem na turystów okazały się m. in. ścieżka rowerowa biegnąca przez półwysep oraz bogaty kalendarz imprez – w tym 11 edycja D-Day Hel oraz premierowy festiwal EB Hel Spot, podczas którego na plaży bawiło się ponad 10 tysięcy osób. Liczbę turystów, która odwiedziła tego lata Półwysep Helski i Pomorze poznamy najwcześniej pod koniec września.
