Teresa Preis z Kościerzyny nagrodzona przez WFOŚ
Za wybitne osiągnięcia i wkład w ochronę środowiska Wojewódzki Fundusz Ochrony Środowiska i Gospodarki Wodnej w Gdańsku nagrodził kościerską ekolożkę Teresę Preis.
Od 46 lat jest ona członkiem Ligi Ochrony Przyrody i organizatorem proekologicznych wydarzeń. W Kościerzynie od lat organizuje obchody Dnia Ziemi i Sprzątania świata, w których biorą udział setki uczniów ze wszystkich szkół w powiecie. Pani Teresa jest też nauczycielem podczas warsztatów ekologiczno – regionalnych w kościerskiej strzelnicy, w których uczy jak segregować śmieci, oszczędzać energię i dbać o przyrodę. Osoby, które chciałyby skorzystać z bezpłatnych warsztatów letnich mogą się zgłaszać do Centrum Kultury Kaszubskiej w Kościerzynie.
