Tegoroczny sezon turystyczny najlepszy od lat
Kapryśna aura nie odstraszyła turystów, a znalezienie wolnego noclegu graniczyło z cudem. Choć nie ma jeszcze oficjalnych statystyk, już wiadomo że sezon 2016 był we Władysławowie bardzo udany.
Pogoda w kratkę nie sprzyjała plażowaniu, a piaszczysta plaża jest przecież mocnym atutem miasta. Jak ocenia burmistrz Władysławowa Roman Kużel o sukcesie sezonu zadecydowała bogata oferta imprez i wydarzeń, bliskość Nadmorskiego Parku Krajobrazowego i doskonałe warunki dla miłośników żeglarstwa i aktywnej turystyki. Na konto problemów związanych z większa liczbą letników zaliczyć trzeba zwiększone koszty utrzymania czystości w gminie. Zagospodarowanie odpadów komunalnych kosztowało miejską kasę o ponad 200 tysięcy złotych więcej niż w ubiegłym roku. Samorząd musiał też poradzić sobie z krytyką ze strony celebrytów – m.in. głośnym w lipcu facebookowym wpisem Agaty Młynarskiej o tym że nad morze zjechali państwo Kiepscy. Według danych GUS-u Władysławowo jest bezkonkurencyjne pod względem liczby miejsc noclegowych – w pierwszej trójce w Polsce wyprzedza Zakopane i Kraków. Według wstępnych szacunków Głównego Urzędu Statystycznego to był najlepszy sezon turystyczny na pomorzu od pięciu lat. Dokładne dane poznamy najwcześniej w połowie września.
