Tablice polsko-kaszubskie będą witały wjeżdżających do Wejherowa
Tablice z polską i kaszubską nazwą Wejherowa staną na wjazdach do miasta – zdecydowali jednogłośnie radni na wczorajszej sesji. Wcześniej w konsultacjach społecznych pomysłowi przyklasnęli mieszkańcy.
– Wejherowo jest duchową stolicą Kaszub i nie wstydzi się swojej tożsamości – komentuje decyzję radnych i wynik ankiety wiceprezydent Beata Rutkiewicz.
Ankietę w tej sprawie wejherowski Urząd Miasta przeprowadził na wniosek Stowarzyszenia Osób Narodowości Kaszubskiej “Kaszëbskô Jednota” i Zrzeszenia Kaszubsko-Pomorskiego. Ankietowani oddali 632 ważne głosy, 86 procent było za umieszczeniem tablic z kaszubską nazwą miasta. Uchwała w sprawie wprowadzenia tablic z dwujęzyczną – polską i kaszubską nazwą Wejherowa trafi teraz do zatwierdzenia na biurko Ministra Spraw Wewnętrznych i Administracji.
