Szykuje się kolejna śmieciowa rewolucja – tam gdzie odpady nie są segregowane do oddzielnych czterech pojemników. Ujednolicenia systemu chce Ministerstwo Środowiska, nowe przepisy mają obowiązywać od lipca tego roku.
Do zielonego śmietnika trafi szkło, do niebieskiego papier, do żółtego metale i plastik, a resztki z kuchni do brązowego. Zasady te nie będą dotyczyć gmin, które już stosują taki poziom segregacji. Jest ich 1400, wśród nich gmina Kartuzy – wyjaśnia Olga Goitowska z Urzędu Gminy Kartuzy. Jednym z powodów wprowadzenia nowych regulacji jest konieczność zwiększenia przez Polskę poziomu odpadów poddawanych recyklingowi. Do 2020 roku ma to być 50 procent, obecnie jest 26 procent. Koszty związane z wymianą pojemników mają ponieść samorządy.
