W Stężycy szykują na lato potężną imprezę plenerową – Disco pod Żaglami. Imprezę miałaby na żywo pokazać telewizja Polsat.
– Organizacja tak wielkiej imprezy z pewnością przyczyni się do promocji naszej gminy i regionu, mówi wójt Stężycy Tomasz Brzoskowski.
Władze gminy zachęcone sukcesem ubiegłorocznej Majówki z Disco Polo postanowiły iść za ciosem. Podpisano już w tej sprawie list intencyjny. Disco Pod Żaglami organizowała ostatnio Zielona Góra, tam wystąpili m. in.: Oceana, Fancy, NO Mercy, Danzel, Mirami, Czerwone Gitary, Stachursky, Vox, Łzy. Gwiazd podobnego formatu możemy się spodziewać w Stężycy, jednak szczegóły są dopiero ustalane. Impreza ma się odbyć 13 – 14 sierpnia w Nadraduńskim Centrum Rekreacyjnym w Stężycy.
