Szwedzcy żołdacy spróbują zdobyć Wejherowo
Wejherowski rynek w najbliższy weekend zasnuje się dymem z muszkietów i wypełni brzękiem szabel. Miasto będzie sceną rekonstrukcji historycznej pod tytułem „Jak to na Pomorzu zdrajcy ze Szwedem próbowali się bratać”.
– Historia może być o wiele ciekawsza, niż nudne daty w podręczniku – mówi prezes Stowarzyszenia „Pułk Czarnieckiego” Krzysztof Zdunkowski.
Do czasów potopu szwedzkiego przeniesiemy się dzięki wysiłkom Stowarzyszenia „Pułk Czarnieckiego” – grupy pasjonatów, którzy organizują weekendowe widowisko. Działające od kilku lat Stowarzyszenie drugi raz przedstawia Wejherowianom historię ich miasta na żywo. Szwedów będzie można spotkać w wielu miejscach Wejherowa, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem Placu Jakuba Wejhera oraz Parku Miejskiego – gdzie rozegrają się trzy bitwy. Podczas trzydniowej imprezy przewidziano także inne atrakcje, m.in. turniej szabli bojowej, turniej kulinarny, będzie można również zwiedzić Kalwarię Wejherowską i podziemia kościoła pw. św.Anny, gdzie spoczywa założyciel miasta wraz z rodziną. Historyczna rekonstrukcja rozpocznie się w piątek w samo południe i potrwa do niedzieli.
