Szkoła Podstawowa nr 1 w Kartuzach świętuje 100-lecie
Już 100 lat istnieje w Kartuzach najstarsza w mieście szkoła podstawowa nr 1 imienia świętego Kazimierza. Dzisiaj oficjalnie zainaugurowano obchody jubileuszu. Była uroczysta msza, akademia i nagrody dla zasłużonych nauczycieli.
Kartuska jedynka była pierwszą szkołą w mieście. Jej budowę rozpoczęto w 1913 roku. Budynek zachował się do teraz, a w międzyczasie dobudowano salę gimnastyczną i łącznik. Mury szkoły opuściły już tysiące absolwentów rozsianych po całym świecie. Dzisiaj przypomniano historię szkoły i dokonania. Obchody jubileuszu mają trwać przez cały rok. W planie są festyny, koncerty a także wydanie książki o historii szkoły. Dzisiaj wieczorem w Kartuskim Centrum Kultury uczniowie jedynki zaprezentują kaszubski spektakl „Gòlince na kaszubskich dróżkach”. Po nim odbędzie się debata wspomnieniowa a także premierowa prezentacja filmu o historii szkoły. Początek spotkania w Kartuskim Centrum Kultury o godzinie 19:30.
