Szczyt Góry Markowca w Rumi będzie ogólnodostępny
Szczyt Góry Markowca w Rumi to szczyt możliwości finansowych miejskiego samorządu. O zagospodarowaniu tego symbolu krajobrazowego miasta rozmawialiśmy dziś z burmistrzem Michałem Pasiecznym w audycji Dzień Dobry Kaszuby.
– Powstanie wieża widokowa, ścianka do wspinaczki, plac zabaw, ścieżka edukacyjna – wylicza Michał Pasieczny.
Miasto wykupiło prawie 2,5 hektara terenu na szczycie Góry Markowca. Reszta pozostanie w prywatnych rękach, bo jest za droga. Pieniądze na zagospodarowanie wykupionej działki znalazły się przy okazji rewitalizacji osiedla Zagórze – samorząd pozyskał je ze Zintegrowanych Inwestycji Terytorialnych. Nie ma natomiast jeszcze planów wykorzystania fortyfikacji – pozostałości z II wojny światowej. Z Góry Markowca jest doskonały widok na Pradolinę Kaszubską, Kępę Oksywską i Zatokę Gdańską.
