Syreny zawyją w godzinie „W”
Zatrzymajmy się na moment gdy o 17:00 zawyją syreny – zachęcają w Gdyni. W Rumi zapraszają wieczorem do wspólnej modlitwy. Dziś 72 rocznica wybuchu Powstania Warszawskiego.
Było największą akcją zbrojną podziemia w okupowanej przez Niemców Europie. Planowane na kilka dni trwało ponad dwa miesiące. O 17:00, w godzinie w której wybuchło powstanie, w miastach odezwą się syreny by złożyć symboliczny hołd poległym. „Niech to będzie czas na chwilę refleksji i zadumy” – zachęcają w Gdyni. Urząd Miasta podkreśla, że po zakończeniu II wojny światowej w Gdyni osiedliło się wielu warszawiaków, wśród nich także powstańcy, którzy tu nad morzem znaleźli swój drugi dom. W godzinie „W” w Rumi złożone zostaną kwiaty pod pomnikiem Żołnierzy Armii Krajowej – przy rondzie u zbiegu ulic Żwirki i Wigury oraz Ceynowy. Potem miejski samorząd i ksiądz Proboszcz Andrzej Gierczak zapraszają mieszkańców Rumi na Mszę Świętą z udziałem pocztów sztandarowych – na godzinę 18:00 do Kościoła pw. Bł. Edmunda Bojanowskiego.
