Święto Morza w Gdyni – Morze w centrum uwagi
Morze w centrum uwagi – w ten weekend w Gdyni będą regaty, rejsy, gry miejskie i familijne zawody. Święto Morza rozpocznie się w piątek i potrwa do niedzieli. Ideą nawiązuje do wydarzeń z lat 30. ubiegłego wieku.
Cztery lata temu wskrzesili je wspólnie m.in. Pomorski Związek Żeglarski, Liga Morska i Rzeczna, Urząd Miasta Gdyni oraz Marynarka Wojenna RP. Impreza ma zwracać uwagę na znaczenie Bałtyku dla regionu, jest też propozycją na ciekawe spędzenie czasu. – Jedną z nowości będzie wieczorna parada jednostek pływających – zdradza prezes zarządu Pomorskiego Związku Żeglarskiego Bogusław Witkowski. Obchody potrwają do niedzieli, zamyka je święto Marynarki Wojennej tradycyjnie przypadające na ostatnią niedzielę czerwca. W porcie wojennym odbędzie się piknik, dostępne będą m.in. okręty wojenne – zachęca do odwiedzin porucznik Anna Sech. Święto Morza rozpocznie się w piątek, o 14:00 odbędzie się pokaz działań antyterrorystycznych i ratowniczych na morzu, koncert na placu Grunwaldzkim i wieczór z Zawiszą na Zawiszy.
