Światowy Dzień Ziemi będą świętować w Kościerzynie
Kilkuset uczestników będzie dzisiaj w Kościerzynie świętowało Światowy Dzień Ziemi. Obchody odbędą się pod hasłem „W Kierunku Natury”.
– Poprzez konkursy i warsztaty będziemy edukować mieszkańców m.in. w zakresie segregacji odpadów – zapowiada organizatorka Teresa Preis z Ligi Ochrony Przyrody.
Z tej okazji jak co roku ulicami miasta przejdzie barwny korowód uczniów ze szkół z powiatu kościerskiego i kartuskiego. Następnie w ogródku jordanowskim wezmą udział w festynie ekologicznym, gdzie swoje stoiska zaprezentują szkoły, parki krajobrazowe, nadleśnictwa oraz organizacje ekologiczne. Obchody Światowego Dnia Ziemi w Kościerzynie rozpoczną się o godzinie 9:30 przy Zespole Szkół Publicznych nr 1, skąd wyruszy barwny korowód. W programie są konkursy na najbardziej pomysłowe przebranie, na wykonanie przedmiotów z odpadów oraz jak najszybsze ułożenie puzzli ekologicznych. Festyn potrwa do godziny 14:00.
